We build models and molds and cast all kinds of sculptures. We enlarge or reduce designs as desired and advise on their implementation. We transport and assemble. All of this is done in close consultation with the customer: their wishes and ideas are fundamental to us.
Thanks to years of professional experience in the field of art casting, we can draw on a wide range of patination options: Patina – that is our specialty.
Thanks to our spacious premises and modern equipment, we can produce works of all sizes in our bronze foundry. We also care for and restore artworks. And we are open to special requests, unusual projects, and experiments. It is important to us to meet the artist’s vision as precisely as possible. This sometimes takes a considerable amount of time when ideas are developed collaboratively.
Not every artist has a precise understanding of the full potential of a material like bronze. Other artists are very aware of its possibilities and consciously want to explore new avenues – absolutely! By arrangement, works can also be created and molded directly in our workshops. Of course, we are also happy to come to your studio.
Der längere Dokumentarfilm über unsere Produktion von „Goethe für Seoul“ ist fertig!

Before Thorsten Knaak’s bronze foundry moved in in 2013, the listed building stood empty for almost 20 years. It was built in 1933 as a substation for the Oberschöneweide district, thus completing the structural unit of the three-phase power plant from 1895. This was considered a technological innovation and made the location on the Oberspree famous beyond the borders of Germany.
The 1933 substation was the last building project of architect Hans Heinrich Müller, an icon of industrial architecture. Today, 80 years later, we are delighted with the generous 1200 square meters and pleased to be part of the spirit of optimism that prevails here in Schöneweide.
